I wonder where one can buy a complete bear fur flayed from it's previous owner. Foxes and wolves are too cliche i feel. Imagine the claws of the bear fur across yer neck, taking the role as a part cape, ey?

I know for a fact, If you visit any hunting/marksmen forums catered toward your general location (Canada, America, Russia, etc) You could hire a someone to shoot one and skin it for you.
It shouldn't be extremely expensive as from experience and peers I can tell you bears tend to be on the stupid side. But wearing a bear hide? You must be strong, as they are very heavy.

Interesting, i can't imagine they are 'that' big and heavy, i'm 1,92 meters tall but then again i've never actually seen a bear in real life.
How do i manage to hire a hunter? As far i know such ideas are forbidden here in Norway and how much do you suspect it may cost?

Forgive me, I don't know much about the fauna of Norway. Are there bears there? I imagine theres polar bears there. I don't know much about Norwegian gun laws, so if you have to have a license or if guns are very restricted or hard to get, it may be more difficult for you.
Is hiring a hunter illegal in Norway? Youre not 'hiring' them. Theyre a friend you found online just 2 days ago, and you are giving them a couple hundred dollars. Why? Say its... Gas money. Or for snacks. Lol.
I live in Canada, so there's a couple things I could do as a Canadian who already has a gun license.
1. Find a business who does that. You'll go with a guide into the bush and shoot one. I know many places advertise a guaranteed catch or your money back.
2. Find a friend who hunts, offer to pay some for supplies and tag. Go and shoot.
3. Find a Hunting/outdoors forum online that cater to your area. Here, there is one called "Albertan Outdoorsmen". Try something like that, and ask around to see if anyone would be willing to either sell you the hide they bring back in their next run, or if you could even tag along.
4. Get a gun, shoot it yourself. A 10 or even 8 gauge shotgun can be bought for cheap, used. Load with slugs. Big calibre Rifles also go for cheap on the used. Buy a tag, shoot, skin, sell the gun and recoup some money. From what I've heard, bears are pretty stupid and easy to hunt.
Finding a friend would be the cheapest. Theres a reason why bears are used often as a rug, and not as a piece of clothing. Also, another thing to look at is skinning and preparing. Do you know how to skin and prepare a hide? If not, this can also be remedied by finding someone who specializes in that sort of thing.
Not cheap, I can tell you that. Good luck with it, and pics if you do it!

*sighs* i've always been hoping i could randomly meet this biggest bear ever and slay it in selfdefence with my oversized knives and then flay it for it's hide as spoils of war.
I don't think it's legal to hunt for bears here at all, like wolfs they are pretty much protected by law and if i met an icebear that would be even cooler since their fur is legendary for it's warmth.
Or that i just accidentally entered an underground arena and beated up a bear and then flayed it!: [link] that would be pretty epic as well
Well, if i ever get one, i'll make sure to upload the results here so will do!

Sweet gods; he's a handsome devil!
In the most heterosexual sense imaginable
But seriously; excellent work; it must have taken some patience in order to incorporate all the little details of his outfit!
