I like it as it is but since you have requested critique, might mention -
the attention goes to the blank white part of the face. Background is also white. That creates a bit of confusion for me as I don't think you want to show that part of face either missing or transparent to show the background.
May be colour that part in some very faint shade [except whites of eyes]? Then the face becomes homogeneous and stands out more against the white background.
Just my reading, not a critique as such!
