For some reason this reminds me of Zhang He from the Dynasty Warrior series. I think it's the color and grace.

The background is nice in and of itself, but I can't seem to decide weather he's standing on water or just kinda floating there. The rings imply water or sound, but I just can't seem to place it. It looks great when I'm focused on his face or hair though.
