I started this ages ago but never got around to add the finishing details until now.I actually had an old "How to draw MLPs" tutorial up on my abandoned site but it's ooold and I wanted something better that I could post here on DA. I know a lot of my watchers are My Little Pony fans so here's a little something for you all
English is not my native language but hopefully this will be simple and understandable enough(I had *LazyJenny read through it and help me with my little spelling errors 
). Oh, and I'm not saying this is the only way to draw a MLP and I do like it when people develop their own styles instead of copying mine so this is basically just a little something to get you started. Maybe someone, somewhere will find something useful in it

Glad you like it. Didn't do too much with it after the inking. After scanning it I adjusted the levels a bit in Photoshop, changed the lineart from black to purple and added some faint colors to hair and eyes. Just the regular clean up really.

My favourite part of your style is the way you draw the eyes. But I still can't believe those super-clean lines are actually done by hand with a real marker! My brain... it cannot compute...!

lol! Thank you! It's pretty strange actually since I have pretty shaky hands but if I just do the line quickly and rest between strokes it'll come out rather smoothly in the end

I love those Centropen Liners! My local art store has decided to stop selling them and it makes me really sad. They where really cheap and works much better than other more professional and expensive brands I've tried. I'm still on the lookout for another store that still sells them.

Nice to hear someone remember my old tutorial and had some help from it
I've been asked a lot about how I draw hair so I decided to add in that little special section. There's actually plenty of ways to draw hair depending on what kind of effect and style you want on it but for me this is the easiest way

Simple basic forms are often the best way to shape out any characters and in that aspect ponies are pretty simple so I'm not surprised that many people draw them in similar ways. I totally missed you had a tutorial. It looks nice!
I also haven't seen any other MLP drawing tutorials here on DA but I've seen a couple on other sites.

det kan den nog ^^ mer hur man ritar benen egentligen, har oftast svårast med dom hur "hälen" (delen precis under bakländen eller va man kallar det) ska ritas. Vet hur d ska se ut men lyckas aldrig rita den som jag vill.

Bakben kan vara lite knepiga men om man har den så kallade "knä-cirkeln" så vet man på ett ungefär vart hasen är placerad.
Vinkeln varierar rätt så mycket beroende på vilken slags pose man vill göra så det enda man egentligen kan göra är att öva sig på att hitta balansen i det hela. Vet själv hur frustrerande det kan vara när man vet hur det ska se ut men inte får ut det på pappret. Träning är det som gäller
