I originally made the line art of this all the way back when Danganronpa 3 came out. But I eventually dropped off coloring it.But recently a friend sent me a program that colored line art www.reddit.com/r/anime/comment…
So I decided to try it out on some of the old line art I had laying around. It was frustrating to work with at times but it came out pretty well. There were a number of details that I was having trouble getting right so I decided to just manually make changes to the result.
These issues I had to fix include the whites of some characters eyes turning black and no matter how much white I put there it would just turn blue and red. The thinly lined details were frustrating to work with since they would not change to the color I wanted. I think this may have been the colors selected around them were interfering with what color is shown. You can see it a bit in how the color of the scarf is creeping into the hair. I maybe could have worked on the lighting of the program more but since there was no save feature and I just wanted to finish up I made detailed changes manually.
