Description
Finally returning to my "dark" alternate Mega Man wallpapers... Part 4 featuring Enker.Of all the versions of Enker that I've written, this one is the only one that falls under a chaotic alignment, in Dungeons and Dragons terms. More specificly, I think he's closer to chaotic good, if not chaotic neutral.
Enker was never supposed to be sentient. His AI was meant to be a self-writing program that allowed it to learn. Somehow, something unexpected happened and the program wrote itself into self-awareness, however limited. The "offending" program was deleted, but it rewrote itself and remembered that its creator had tried to snuff out its sentience. When the AI was installed into its intended body, it immediately rebelled. It was then he took the name Enker. Threatening to take his creator's life if he tried to remove his sentience again, Enker ran off, taking various items his new body would need to keep it functioning in the outside. He returned, of course, when he got into a battle he couldn't handle. The only reason Enker spared his creator was because he was the only one who could repair his unique energy system. They don't talk to each other much, as Enker is still quite bitter about the act against his "freedom." His creator seems apologetic, but is still searching for what gave the machine sentience.
Enker got the body shown in this wallpaper at that time; a full upgrade. He wields two short spears that can join together to make a doublespear. He kept his energy system, which absorbed all types of energy through his armor. If there is any increase in his body's energy level, then the excess is transferred into the "Mirror Buster" system. However, this makes conventional "recharging" useless. He instead has to take in energy to keep himself running through either inhaling it as a mist that can be expelled through his armor or through drinking it in liquid form.
Enker's motives are best stated by how he explains himself to Mega Man. Mega Man asks who he fights for. This is Enker's reply:
"No one. I fight because I am free to do so. I fight against anyone who would take that away. From me or from anyone."
*looks up* That was long. ^_^* As you can see, I put a lot of thought into him and his part of the story.
