I never really put a lot of thought into Bubble Man. He was just the first guy I'd fight when I popped in MM2. Not necessarily easy to fight sans Metal Blade, but he had one of the easier stages to run. Bubble Lead was handy for Wood Man's stage and the later Wily Fortress stages, too.

Curse the English language and its homographs. Are the bubbles made of lead or are the bubbles leading you along the ground? I always assumed the latter, mainly due to the placement of the word "lead".

As for the picture, nothing special. It brought back fond memories of when I used to mess around on MSPaint and draw random bubbles years ago. Dark blue background, light blue circle tool, and eraser for the shininess... Ah, the good old days...
