Brandon had visited a Pokemon ranch while on a vacation to Alola, one of the regions filled with Pokemon. As one of the ranchhands had showed him the Mudsdale barn, Brandon was super stoked to see them. He picked out one of them, which was a male. When the Mudsdale was saddled up to be ridden, and as Brandon hopped on, he immediately could feel his mount buck inside the barn, as he held onto the saddle horn.
