As the trio leaves the arena, they asked one of the competitors if it was okay to stay at his ranch. That was Brandon.
"Okay, I'll let you guys sleep in for the night. Say, did you REALLY come all the way from Africa?"
Simba replies, "Yes. It's um... complicated. Either way, the three of us need to train a little more."
They train for the rodeo, until it was dark. Timon then sleeps instantly while staying in one of the empty horse stalls in the barn, as Pumbaa and Simba sleep with him.
The next day, it was time for both rider and mount to compete. After watching most of the horses buck, Simba imitates their movements while Timon rode on for the complete 8 seconds. In the end, he won the ride, throwing his cowboy hat in the air.
"Yeehaw! I did it!"
He was then awarded a trophy for his best rodeo ride by the judges. Timon was so proud of himself, but he was also proud that Simba had given his all as well, including Pumbaa's support.
