Owner: xRavenwoodDesigns
Name: Anna Belle (Belle)
Age: 16 years
Gender: Mare
Breed: Paint
Colour: Chestnut tovero
Genotype: Aa/ee/nT/nO
Height: 1.58 m
Characteristics: A sweet, motherly mare who will take care of anything that can't fend for itself (newborn kittens, small children, etc.). She is very forgiving and she's clearly grateful to have been rescued from her situation. She always makes sure to somehow remind people she was worth every penny, even though she will never be a glorious show horse.
History: As a foal she was purchased by a family who trained her, but they ended up having to sell her on because of financial problems. Belle ended up at a run-down facility where she was used as a broodmare most of her life. She produced many healthy foals despite being underweight and abused, but at some point she suffered from Mare Reproductive Loss System and her breeding program was terminated. She was put out in a field without any further treatment, during which she suffered a severe eye injury from a fence that became infected. After several months people alerted the horse rescue and she was rescued, though her eye unfortunately had to be removed.
With time and training, Belle can be used as a riding horse and could be perfect for young children and people who are just learning how to ride. She has no real fears, though she doesn't like loud voices and burly, gruff men. She is fairly old already so she most likely won't have a long, flashy show career, though small competitions should not be ruled out as a possibility in the future.
Level: Easy
Owner: xRavenwoodDesigns
Name: Danny boy (Danny)
Age: 8 years
Gender: Stallion
Breed: Danish warmblood
Colour: Bay
Genotype: Aa/EE
Height: 1.62 m
Characteristics: A distant, somewhat reserved stallion. He's hard to work with because it takes a lot of time to get through to him, which can be blamed largely on his trauma from abuse. He needs a patient handler who won't get frustrated with him and, with time, will turn out to be loyal and infinitely loving of them.
History: Danny was born in a good facility and was destined to be put into intensive training for high-level competition. The first few years of his life were peaceful and enjoyable, but the stable fell on hard time and the level of care for the horses started to decrease. At some point Danny and some other horses were placed in tie-stalls, which were easier to maintain, while other horses were kept outside 24/7. One night a fire broke out beside Danny, who was on the edge of the stalls, and he suffered severe burns on his side from it before he was able to break loose and flee. A few days later he was found wandering on the edge of the road, having jumped a fence in panic, and was brought to the rescue to be healed.
As a result of what happened, Danny is very scared of small spaces and will most likely not feel comfortable in crowds. He needs to heal completely before he is able to start any kind of training (though he has already come a very long way) and it will take a few years. However; it is possible for him to still have a few years in competition.
Level: Moderate
Owner: Samara0621
Name: Mr. Right (Rory)
Age: 5 years
Gender: Stallion
Breed: Morgan
Colour: Buckskin dun with grease spots
Genotype: AA/Ee/Dd/nCr
Height: 1.60 m
Characteristics: A surprisingly playful fellow once he comes out of his shell. He can be shy and easily scared off by someone who's too boisterous, but give him a few days and he'll be prancing around you like a happy colt flirting with his crush. He is eager to learn and please, and nothing makes him happier than people laughing.
History: Rory was an accidental foal produced out in the field. His owners didn't want him and dumped him out in a field, ignoring him completely. The neighbours' daughter realized and snuck out every day after school to play with him, which is why he has such a joyful spirit despite of what happened. She also fed him, keeping him from becoming grossly underweight, but when she ended up having to leave for boarding school he was completely on his own. He lost a lot of weight until he was barely able to stand, which is when the rescue was alerted and came to take him. He is still underweight, though there is nothing else physically wrong with him. His mane was in very bad shape and has been roached so it can grow back properly.
Because he has never been exposed to any kind of training it will take a lot of time to get him underaddle without risking any lives. He is naturally bold and spirited, which adds to this difficulty. He suffered no severe injuries, however, and has a large potential to end up doing competitions.

Keeping
Name: Moonlight Sonata (Luna)
Age: 9 years
Gender: Mare
Breed: Trakehner
Colour: Grey (on bay)
Genotype: Aa/Ee/Gg
Height: 1.62 m
Characteristics: An extremely skittish mare who feels threatened easily. She is terrified of almost anything and needs a very confident, gentle handler with experience.
History: Luna was born at a badly-reputed facility. The horse rescue stepped in once before when they found her with a halter the was cutting her face because it was so small, though she was eventually returned with a warning when the owners promised to take better care of her. For a few months it went very well, but the training she went through after that point to be broken was harsh and severe and has left her scared of anything that has to do with riding - saddle, bridles, crops, spurs, etc.). She was kept inside a very small, dirty concrete stall where should could barely turn, which is where much of the rubbed off skin comes from. Eventually the horse rescue took all the horses from the facility, including Luna, and have been working to get her back into shape so she can find a loving home.
It will take a long time before Luna is able to be ridden and it is crucial that her full trust is gained before making any more towards training. It is recommended that she first be ridden with little to no tack (ex. with a neck rope) and that the training takes baby steps. She will most likely never become a fancy show horse, though she has great potential in dressage.
Level: Hard
Lineart: P2U horse lines - 50 pts.
