A book wyrm and its school of bookmark spawns.
The bookmarks roam freely and are often observed collecting scraps of paper. When the time is right, they lodge themselves into a book of their choosing to grow into a wyrm.
It's said you can take the bookmark out of a wyrm, and the book goes back to normal - though such act causes extreme distress to it, and is considered needlessly cruel to this creature beloved for its grace and gentleness.
