and maybe playing with 'curves' will make the bottom much darker while mainting the upper lightness....

Nice angle and composition, I love the amount of detail on this photo, the tree looks great. My only point of criticism is that maybe you could crop out some of the bottom, the tops of the other trees distract a little.

fuck the contrast being to high, it looks good, I love how the top of the sky fades from grey to white looks really cool!
