I never thought I'd stumble upon Blind Guardian cover here... at least not the cover you can actually see outside devART. I've got nothing insightful to add except my awe and admiration for this stunning piece of art you've made... which goes so well with the music of one of my favourite bands.

Chiroschoro style, The one which mean to increase contrast between light areas and shade areas in the composition, and begin to increase the surface reflecting ability of the hero of the art work .. This is what begain with Carvaggio, and it called that time the Caravagisttie, then began to develope with painters beginning with Leonardo da vinci, through Rubens, and Rambrandt Van rijn, through modern schools like new classic and romancisim.
One of very rare people who understand the using of this kind of lightings on DA is Anry Nemo. coloring it with his own style while his eyes still looking on selections of Rambrandt van rijins or one of his followers .. as this lighitng is often works to introduce gold effect, or one candle room lighting. The palying of both families of fonts is suitable for that perioud also. i am not into finding a bad thing in this painting with an acadmic veiw.
Which make this painting more beautiful is that to use dragons with those lights. dragons as a concept came from japan and have mentioned with alot of lighting families are not a subject for old flamesh, french or italians in that perioud to use this lighting family (chiaroschoro) with it, it is something people used on modern life like boris and those guys .. It is a new thing also beside ur new style in doing this lightings. I like in ur work not only the richness of colors but also the trying to make something new, I mean the thinking behind the work. It is a very good job.
The rethems in playing with Dragons body in this work, through a similar devided design, make the music of work play in harmony manner between this softness of Dragons' bodies with their long body in a hand, and this equality between 2 vertical sides of the layout, which make contrast that increase the eye attraction to the body of one dragon and another. This way of playing with dragons begin to make new aspect and depth indesign because it was another factor inside this painting attract the eye is the goldish feeling on those oriantlimnts .. well, i can't type more because if i begin to speak more i will not stop, the various rethems here are amazing man.
