Amazing as usual, the watch drew me in, it was the first thing i noticed about the picture. I cant really explain it, but it seems to fit, it belongs on him and in this picture.

lol, that watch just doesn't look right! It really clashes with the classic depiction of monks, which is great cause this guy looks anything but classic! he looks like a hard hitting futuristic monk, so the watch would then work perfectly.
In short, I love the watch.

I hate to criticize such a good image. I don't mean anything wrong by it, but aren't Monks not Materialistic? So I was just intrigued by the watch that the Monk was wearing. Nice touch though to a good image. Gonna have to check the game out also

I do like the wristwatch alot, great idea
one thing troubles me a bit...
On first sight the right hand is gripping the staff, yet that can't be possible, considering the vertical position and angle of the hand, the z-angle of the staff... The way you displayed it, the staff goes right through the hood.
Granted, the staff might have a bend we can't see right behind the figure's head, or the figure might only be holding the staff with one hand anyway.

I especially like the contrast between the ancient warrior look in the clothes and the weapon, and the modern artifact the watch.
For me it expresses the feeling of the modern men: part warrior, part conforming to modern day status symbols: showing of with an expensive watch.
Great idea, good colorsheme and detail, certainly with the best graphic art I've seen so far.
But hey, may'be I'm old skool, for me art still has to express an idea, not only show off with striking colors or lines.
And this one has it all: the idea and the execution.

He looks so stern and resolute, the mask fits so perfectly. Also, I like how you made the fabric of his robes look heavy, worn, and practical, like a monk's clothes should be, unfrivoluous. The background repetition of the other monks is an interesting touch. Great job!
