A forth image from a previous project. This piece showing the view across the main game world from the entrance of the "Earth World" towards the Mountain of the Fire Dungeons. Colour and feel for the world was the main objective of this piece.Photoshop CS - Wacom Tablet

Awesome color and great lighting balancing the light with the dark to really create an intense mood that permeates beyond the image. Nice job with the branches around the tree, the red kind of ads a bit of danger (a warning of sorts if you will) so as to keep you on your toes as you watch the looming volcano from a distance.

the feel for me is confusing by the alternating scale of the scene. the mountain is in fact dwarfed by the road in this which is interesting. like in the foreground the road seems to be a forest path and upon its second entrace at the upward hill it is beside some buildings or rocks? the scale of the road here must be huge in comparison which leaves me confused as i examine further back into the painting. is the city and this mountain in fact tiny or are these trees and grass in the forground in fact huge?
or am i naive for assuming i am on the same path in the foreground? its interesting and no doubt cool to look at.

Grass never looks so good. The glows you have applied in the grass make it really stand out and look cool its interesting to have it in front of a hell gate looking valcono nice interesting image here

that green glow works soooo damn peaceful here. it really makes you wanna live there... even with that dangerously looking mountain in front of the city. the transition between the friendly area and the darker dangerous area works nice. parts of it remind on some scenes from the lotr movies. great job here... would have been interesting to see what you would have made of it with 10 or 20hrs more of work.
