Description
An image for the new 2006 model of the Subaru Hybrid "Type-25" Impreza. Rather than fast moving shots for this campaign, I've started with a menacing looking environment with the car sitting in it.To create this image I had to take a pretty low res web image of the car (as none of these have arrived in the UK as yet) and scale it up 300% to start work. Re-detailing, re-lighting and adding features and options the car took quite some time. The background is to represent the rather serious nature of this cars performance. 400 BHP - 0-100mph 9.5 seconds. There will be more in this series.

It's funny, I never liked the '06 design of the STi much, and I still don't, but here it's starting to grow on me. It's still way too Evo for my liking (not that Evos are bad, but I liked Subaru's own unique look), yet at the same time...it's still a fairly attractive car. Aside from the butt-ugly grill of d00m that has truly manifested itself in the '07 version.
You've done such a splendid version of it here, though, that I can't help but like it. It's still a STi at heart, and you've done it so much justice here...it's gorgeous.
Damnit. I would buy a print of this too, only once again, I'm too poor x___x; Oh well, I guess a hearty
