Description Drex took one more look at his brother before squeezing his eyes shut. He mentally prepared himself for the blast he and Fliz would be subjected to. They were helping Vliticus test an aspect of his wind manipulation, but the thought of blowing away was still hard to get past. Vliticus lowered himself into a crouch as he said, "Ok. Here it goes." What happened next was truly unexpected. Drex waited, listening as the wind started and increased rapidly. He could hear it rushing all around him in large volumes, yet he didn't feel any of the physical affects of it on his body. Gingerly, he opened his eyes to discover billowing clouds of dust being swept away. Small rocks and dirt were continually caught up in the tempest Vliticus created, but none of it was blowing against Drex. Instead it seemed to flow around him as peacefully as water in a stream. His attention turned to Fliz, who appeared equally bewildered by what was happening. She watched the strong wind tare through the grass around them before giving her brother a confused look and mouthing, "How?" Drex now began to feel a tickling sensation around his legs. It quickly spread over the rest of his body. At the same time, his sister's mane started to sway gently on its own. The sensation continued to brush over him and push lightly against both dragons. It steadily became more and more insistent on moving them as their protection from the wind dissolved. In moments they were fighting against the full force of their brother's gale in an effort to remain where they were. Grains of dirt constantly pelted the two dragons like tiny projectiles. They didn’t have to endure this for very long, however. To their relief, the windstorm let up as quickly as it had begun. Vliticus surveyed the shallow fan grooves that were carved through the soil in front of him. He then made his way over to his siblings who were sprawled out on the ground. Breathlessly, they stood and shook the dust off themselves. The yellow dragon gently blew the remaining pieces of dirt and grass off his brother and sister before nuzzling both of them. "What happened? Did it work?" he asked. Fliz rubbed her head with a paw as she sighed. "Oh what a surreal experience. I honestly felt like I wasn't even here. It was like those films the humans make. All this stuff flying around, and Drex and I are just standing in the middle of it like nothing was happening." The red dragon shook his head in agreement. "Yeah. It wasn't until you let the wind actually blow on us that we felt like we were really out here." Upon hearing this, Vliticus lept up and whirled around with glee. "So it did work! That's amazing guys! Thanks so much for helping me like this. So, what was the transition like?" Fliz looked up at him before tilting her head up and letting her tiny ears flop back as she laughed. "That was weird too. I'm glad we didn't get hit with all of it all at once, but having the wind lightly blowing over me when it's trying to pull everything else out of the ground is beyond strange."
