LEGO!!! Oh man, I used to spend HOURS building things, like a McDonalds in lego land 'cause we had some of the platforms to put it on.. its always fun to play with.

whoa, apart from the non-meshsmoothing (which you did in the 2nd render), this is awesome. The transparency really makes it more realistic, because some legos are transparent. The harder part would be to make those little "glass" ones, if thats what you wanna call it. They are so skewy that.. they're both transparent and opaque at the same time!

It's just so simple -1 cube, 5 cilinders and 1 duplicated spline extrude?, Technicaly, You may want to smooth out the fans.

Besides my extensive collection of GI Joes, Ghostbuster and Ninja Turtle toys, Legos were among my favorite. This piece could be a little bit more complex...just a block and fan really isnt much. Make something big! Also: smooth the mesh out, cause I can see the polygons, when the curves of the fan should be more rounded....keep it up.

That's pretty cool. I wish I could make something other than spheres in a 3D modeler

that's wacked out, I love it! nice work... if you could set your piece on a white surface beneath it, in a way so you can capture that same rich ambient shadow, like you've got on the top of the blue brick? you'd have a real winner, something real light, just a hint of a gray ghost, to fill the void on the right hand side of the frame... it wouldn't look like it was floating in blank space, but would give the composition some real depth!

Hey, that looks really good - I don't even know what truespace is, but I love the semi-transparent fan, and the colours are great The curves are a bit jaggy, but I guess changing that is easier said than done
