Nice shot! I think you may be the one who inspired my recent submission... I posted a photo in Stills called "Queen's Gambit" that I am using in a competition this coming week. The challenge topic is "Upside Down" and I used a coin on the chess board... Nice job!
The only thing I could suggest that would possibly make your photo more dramatic is if the background was washed out with a black or some other dark colored drape maybe?
