the gradient in the background rocks my socks the hippy flower is really cool too.
the big gap between news and portfolio just seems out of place, though. *shrug* imho.

Wow man.. that kick arse! I love that widescreen, top-aligned layout you've made.. very original. The flash animation is so sweet.. very smooth, and not obtrusive or distracting in any way. The only suggestion that I can give is to decrease the timeout on the menu. By that I mean that it takes about 1.5 seconds for the menu to disappear once you take your mouse off of it.. it should be much less.
But yeah.. I love it. Awesome work
