February 11th, 2009. The day that the blorb crisis washed over the kingdom, though, guess it never effected me in any shape or form. Quite literally considering that my classmates were like balloons, causing the teacher to say I had the day off to figure out this crisis. Now I didn't mind it to much, more time with mittens I thought. Though I should have known it was to good to be true. As I walked with mittens on my shoulders, she started hissing at two short mushroom guys. At first I didn't know who they were, but then I knew...Those where the guys that bullied me up to christmas. I was wondering where they went after that day, but after what they said, I knew where they were at for the last 2 months..

These two slipped away from the orphanage to join up bowsers ranks, and to have an excuse to bully me more. Well, I wasn't going to let these two pick on me anymore, and not with mittens at my side. So we went into the fight, and we barely won. But as if they suddenly had the speed of a speeding bullet bill, mittens was gone, and the two rushed off. I was quick to follow, but was stopped by a huge amount of wind going at me as if I was fighting a vaccum. Trees derooted, pipes flying at me, the only way I could take shelter was by holding onto the metal railings. As the sudden suction stopped, I regain my balance and rushed to my pets aid. Later on that day, I was about to give up my search in Bumpsy Plains, a miracle that a 5 year old like me had the patience to be out there for so long, I saw the most horrific sight I laid my eyes upon at the time. My pet, laying on the ground, cracked chest at the middle, wimpering in pain. Scared, I checked on the damage, and was startled by how fatal it looked. The monster must have been stepping on the blitten, and ran off after making it this badly hurt. Picking the blitten up in my arms, mittens gave me a good by lick, before passing on with tears in her eyes. I too shed tears that day, and did my best to bury the body as a pay of respect. Little did I know that the Koopa King was watching, observing. I don't know why he would do this, but the only guess I could have at the time was, I looked like Mario with my overalls. It's a good thing I ran fast, cause the Koopa King was shooting fire and wanting his rival to go down due to Bowsers Mission of fixing his army. When I made it home to the ophanage, Toadsworth went to my bedside, and told me these words.

"You and Mittens will meet again, don't know where..or when it will happen. But your bond was so great, that you'll meet mittens again some sunny day."
