I just had this thing with a one-year old today. The baby was gorgeous, and could already walk a little alone! Amazing what magic can do, right?
This hits the right spot, and fills the right blank.
We struggle our entire life so we can grow faster, and then suddenly get that urging need of having that same hand around us

its cause you see this GIANT old hand holding an infant. its like what paintings do to the observer. You think different thoughts, and create different approaches to why the artist did what they did. Although you might not have wanted me to think a certain way, the way i felt about this was, an old man snatching a little baby. it may not have been true, but thats what art does.
Plus the contrast between old and infancy . . .
