Yes, I was inspired the first time I heard Boys Like Girls' "Two is Better than One" on the radio. At first, I didn't know what I wanted to draw, just that it was a Gwevin song. So, I had to stop, close my eyes, and daydream the next time I caught the song. This was the first good image I saw. It's inspired by the end of How to Deal with Macon picks up and spins Hallie in the hospital corridor.

Here, Gwen and Kevin share a breather moment after everyone has rushed out of the church following Ben and Julie's wedding. She was a maid of honor, and Kevin got to be Ben's Best man (or so I think). So, they wanted a moment after the wedding party photos were completed before heading to the reception.

But, in the midst of trying to gather their wits after such a rush, Kevin asks Gwen to marry him. She does say yes, ergo why he's picked her up.

Yes, I made that all up, but it's still cute. Well, I think it is, anyway. I may even have to revisit this idea at a later date.

The background. Okay, this is based on a real place where a cousin of mine got married (I sadly don't recall the name of the place since it's been almost 3 years, but it was gorgeous!). Since I was in the wedding party, I don't have good references to the steps of the chruch. I did the best I could with what I had. The ground looks that way because there's a hill that leads to the parking lot... or, I think that's what it led to.

Things aren't proportioned correctly in the back, but I just wanted something back there so Gwen and Kevin weren't merely floating in a sea of white. Although, sometimes, I think I'd be better off leaving out backgrounds. They never turn out well.
