eventough, I also likeD nutella, I really need to tell you one thing: Ferrero does not avoid child labour from its suppliers (like hazelnuts: picked by children in Turkey).
I know, Nutella's taste is unique, but well... Ferrero is too similar to NestlΓ© ...

well, I just thaught if only a few people more knew about it they could meke the world a little better and help children to be able to learn reading and wirting instead of picking hazelnuts for Ferrero. There IS the possibility to avoid child labour and the consumer of chocolate spread can help to chage something! There are really great alternatives by fair trade and non child labour organisations to Nutella!

there's Fair Trade Chocolate and Hazelnut Cream for example, or organic Hazelnut Cream. I can't tell you exactly what products are sold in Danmark, but I'm sure you'll find something that's as good as Nutella if you look around...

thanks for making that thoughtful comment on child labour.... I had honestly not even considered that it could be happening. I'm very naive like that... I keep being constantly surprised by bad things in the world.

Neither me! I did not think that a family-business from Swizerland would more or less support child labour in Europe! I was really shocked by this because Ferrero does make really amazing sweets like Raffaelo. But for me, this is just one more fact that lets me buy fair trade chocolate (spread)

It's been here for quite a few years. For some reason it's becoming some kind of fad though. I mean don't get me wrong, it's delicious, but I don't understand why it's suddenly ~cool~. I mean, it's food.

Well yeah I am from germany, everybody knows it because its here since 1965. Had a sudden feel that it came kind of a trend in the US because on Memebase it was referred pretty often the last time >.<

My face when I saw this was just complete aw- and then bliss. You have no idea how obsessed I am with nutella. It is like- peanut butter and chocolate had a love child that was as healthy and delicious as could be, almost good with anything.
My favorite= Toasted nutella and pretzel sandwich
