food colouring + egg/melted butter mixture + bread + paintbrush + oven = coloured toast.

No problem! If you're having trouble getting vibrant colours, adding a bit of milk can help. And adding vanilla helps get darker colours. Cheers!

Droppers, dipping, and other forms of getting the mixture onto/into the bread work as well. I used to do this all the time when I was a kid. ^-^
