Description
Origin of this title is more easy than you can expect - I was listening to this song by Linkin Park while designing this image.You may look at this scene like one from a dream (dream again?! Recently I really like that kind of surreal surroundings >_> )
But the original idea was started really a long time ago, even before I opened my commissions and before finishing this image with parents of Iskra so this image changed a lot. I know that this pose is not exactly correct, but I like how it looks and wanted to made it somehow stylized and more "artistic". The whole art was much more wide - she had cloudy wings and very long mane and tail flowing in the wind (even the wind was blowing in the opposite direction ^^) - I ended this image while listening mostly to this old song

Anyway it's my character Sol Bianca, next thing I'm going to do is create a reference sheet for her - I changed some things in her look, like black stripes in her mane and tail and black star on the head (maybe I'll do an avvie with this pose, it might look nice ...but I love my cat icon so don't know if will ever use it

actually you obtained what you wanted with the pose, really looks very dinamic! and artistically!, the planets in the background, i really dont feel as they were necesary, really dont convince me, but its still a very great piece

I personally wasn't gonna use it on the blog, but I saw others using it and I know there are real problems with unauthorized use, so I guess since you said it's okay, and they credited you, then there's nothing to worry about!

Very beautiful and very well coloured. She looks like she's glowing. It's fantastic and yes it really does look like something from a dream, perhaps it's the sepia shades of the background because dreams (or at least mine) always tend to be a nondescript colour.

About it being a dream for me it depends on some more aspects like that Bianca is in really strange position, not like she was jumping more like.. .flying? or that she is standing on water lily's leaf or that the bg is disappearing somewhere in the dark... It's nice to create something really from the imagination (:

it reminds me greatly of a scandinavian folk tale about a troll that lives in lakes and ponds called a nΓΈkk. it sometimes lured women to drown themselves in the sea by turning into a white horse and then jumping into the lake and the women would follow. and the lakes where a nΓΈkk lived was where the lillypads grew. i love it

It sounds similar, but it's too cruel for the personality of my Bianca
I heard about a story where horse lured children -> he could made his back that long that any child can be able to sit on him and run with them into to lake

hehe, yeah i guess it is. she looks stunning in the picture. it was just the first thought that struck me, so had to tell the story.
but i have not heard about a horse luring children though. but then again. impossible to know all the mythical stories.

This is simply beautiful!! I love the dream-like quality. And wonderful job on the horse. In that position, it would have been easy for the horse to come out awkward looking but he/she looks very graceful.

Sometimes it's easier to draw a horse without reference in some unnatural position than just standing still
