I know that canonically in Ape Escape, Spike was most certainly not a baby when Kuuta was but the thought of them being not only babies together but playmates is so precious. 😄 Spike's parents could have been friends with Kuuta's trainer and the little guy was immediately drawn to the adorable albino on his first visit to the park. He babbled to the little monkey and acted so excited and the three friends found this so sweet that they thought how cute it would be to let the babies play together. One play date and little baby Spikey was hooked and would cry every time they left the park. Specter started to greatly enjoy his company too and their favorite thing to do was play with a ball together.

I am so in love with how this digital piece turned out. It truly melts my heart. As does the little backstory I came up with for it.
