It was a classic David and Goliath tale the night "Ruthless" Ruby Rogers became our second fighter to progress to Stage 2 of the tournament. Many pitched her as the underdog coming in to the fight against one of the favourites, and whilst she was arguably outclassed on the canvas, her warrior's heart pulled her through. We caught up with her a few days after the fight and the confidence was radiating from her.

"I've been an underdog my whole life. I thrive on it and I welcome any of the other fighters to underestimate me... it just makes victory that much sweeter. I'm not taking anything away from Spades, it was a great fight and she hits F****ing hard, but the moment she underestimated me was the moment I knew I was going to take the win. "
