Description

Cheryl woke up feeling funny, it was like a hangover but also not. Her body felt heavy and sluggish and everything seemed off, nothing fit.

She slowly opened her eyes and studied her whereabouts. It was not the first time she had gone out to the club and woke up somewhere unknown, hell it wasn’t even the fiftieth time, but the small room she saw was definitely the worse one she had woke up in.

The room was atrocious, with paint peeling off the walls and a strong smell of cheap alcohol and cigarettes. The kitchen table, if it could be called that was filled with half finished bottles of various discount varieties. The bed was messy with sheets that looked like they have not been washed since they were purchased twenty years ago.

Cheryl could see the sex stains on the bed and knew if the room was filled with a black light the bed would light up like the Christmas tree at Rockefeller center.

The floor was littered with empty bottles, cigarette butts and other disgusting, unwashed debris. Off to the side was a cabinet closet that was missing one side and the other door was ready to fall off. Two dressers were in the corners, both looking like they were taken out of a dumpster, and a smashed TV stood next to the bed.

The only decent piece of furniture in the joint was a full length mirror, the appeared to be an antique and was undeniably out of place in this condemned facility.

Cheryl made her way towards the ancient mirror, knowing that something was off about herself.
