I don't know if my comment showed up or not. I'll say it again:
This is NOT "just moody" to me. Yes, it has a big amount of depression in it, but that's because of the WAY you did this. The silhouetting, the stormy background, the tree...all of this is used a lot in the element of depression and loneliness, and maybe even overused. But this is totally original to me. And that lead, that one leaf--maybe it's just a little red leaf to some people, but it really adds ot the modd of this picture...

tho, the red leaf is kinda bigger than how it should be depending on the size of the tree.
and its bright red shade would look better if it were a bit pale.

The only thing that bothers me a bit about this piece is that the leaf seems too big for the tree... sorry, had to say it ^_^; Other than that, nice work.

its beautiful... this picture captures exactly why i moved to Los Angeles from Minneapolis. although the latter is a much more clean and beautiful city than the former, the "winter blues" and the cold end of fall are definite downsides to the City of Lakes.
thank you for this deviation. you really captured that certain feeling we all get during the waning of the fall colors.

as a result of my work on photo account, sky was added later, and then maniped. here are aboout 4 images + 2 textures, but not sure.
