Been trying to get this one done for several days now. Stuff kept coming up.Working on Celestia next, then probably either AG or revisiting Applejack, Fluttershy and some edits on Rarity for print.

Looked up bird anatomy - bird wings are located at the center of mass of the animal. After more research, found the center of mass of a horse is roughly close to the front shoulders, where the wings are attached on MLP characters. Following this logic, the wings should be attached roughly at the center of mass of a human body, thus the low placement.
