NOTE: On the left is my first attempt at Azula (back in 2007), right is a new version I made in 2014.

Zuko's surperior younger sister, with a heart blacker than coal. She doesn't back away from any fight, wins practically any fight she's in and wants to be heir to the Fire Nation throne, since her brother is useless and a traitor. Where Iroh failed to seize Ba Sing Se, she succeeded, by disguising herself as a Kyoshi Warrior. She is agile and has tremendous Fire Bending abilities, to the point where she can bend lightning at will and uses a blue variant of fire, instead of regular orange. She and her friends Ty Lee and Mai try to capture the Avatar; where her older brother failed, she succeeded in almost killing him. Certainly not a girl you'd want to end up fighting, I can tell you that. After her father's defeated she goed mentally insane and gets locked up in an asylum, until Aang and co. take her on a search for her mother.
As to why I made a new sprite: Calm and collected as she usually is, she was already in a steady position. However the hairpiece on her head was in the wrong location and the color of her boots was off. Azula usually bends fire from her fists or fingers, which is why I decided for this new pose. Also, that fireball was way to big, for such a small sprite.
