UPDATE 1/5/2016 : So, I can't figure out how to alter the PDF, but the GoogleDoc file has been HEAVILY updated. There are some new categories, and even a section for a few of the more well-know personality quizzes. If someone can share with me how to update the PDF I have uploaded here, I'll be happy to do it. However, until then, the GoogleDoc file is the more up-to-date version.

After quite a few years of creating characters for my fanfiction, roleplay, and other stories, I decided it was time to put together my own "Ultimate" character sheet. I know some people HATE things like this, and think they're time wasters. I, however, find that these sheets often give me some very interesting insights into my characters that I wouldn't have considered without a sheet like this. So hopefully others out there will find this as useful as I do. I've tried to add explanations of things as prompts for what to write where. However, if anything is still unclear, please let me know and I'll do my best to re-clarify whatever you're unsure about.

With that said, I will also admit that while I'd like this sheet to be all-inclusive, it really only relates to the characters I've made in the past (or that I'm currently working on). So, if you have any suggestions for questions that should be addressed, added to, etc. please let me know and I'll see about getting it updated (with a credit to you, of course.)

Also, and more importantly, there's NOTHING that says you MUST complete this ENTIRE form. If there are sections that don't jive with your character, then just delete them. For example, if your character hasn't been in school in 50 years and there's NOTHING in the story that pertains to that part of their life, then rather than plodding through answering questions that don't really matter, just delete them. You certainly won't hurt my feelings. On the flip side of that, sometimes, at least for me, it's the unexpected/random/seemingly unnecessary questions that make me think more deeply about what my character's all about. So, maybe you'd prefer to do the 'plodding', and that's perfectly okay, too.

Something else - my fanfic ideas are generally pretty epic (regarding length/timeline) - usually spanning decades. Obviously a character's information can change from one decade to another. So, what I generally tend to do is answer based off of when and where the story starts - not when and where it ends. If I think/know that future information needs to be (or should be) included, then I do so at the end. Thus, the reason that I've added the last two questions to every section of the character sheet.

As a final note - this sheet is technically comprised of a multitude of other character sheets that I've accumulated over the years + my own personal ideas. I have added, regrouped, and rearranged things in a way that better suits my needs. If you see something that seems "stolen" from another sheet, then I deeply apologize. Just let me know and I'll be more than happy to give credit where it's due or (if you really insist) I'll remove those sections/questions from this public document.

And last, but not least - if you use this and post it somewhere, please give me credit and, if you have time, drop me a comment or a note with a link to wherever you posted it - a lot of blood, sweat, and tears went into this thing...and it's always nice to share with others...but it’s nice to get credit, too.

And one final bit of trivia, for anyone who cares - this document (not filled in, of course) is 17 pages long in 9 pt. Trebuchet font with 1.5 spacing...hence the name, "Profile of DOOM!" Anyway...happy writing!
