Wanted to make another one of these guys ;0; this one's design was one i bought and then revamped so I could change its species (the other species was one I don't really wanna get into tbh)- I'm not entirely sure who the original design artist is, but i just changed a few things to fit :> He's inspired by sea lions and whatnot, but I still don't know what to name him

This kid is a puppy and part of the larger one's pod (unrelated, the larger one just enjoys the kid's company)-- there are a few key differences between him, a puppy, and the full grown adult male

-fin-like flute around his genitals signifies prepubescence- it'll shrink during puberty and disappear entirely when he reaches full adulthood
-before adulthood, his sex can't be determined without physically cutting him open (so he just goes by he/him pronouns as a preference)
-only his dam knows his sex since she birthed him, but she was killed by whalers
-He does know his sex, but since he's a kid he doesn't care, nor does he mention it
-His glow can't change color like the older one (color-changing scales/etc. only appear after puberty)- the glow is static until adulthood
-His variant is cold water(as in, originates in waters around the arctic, but he can survive anywhere), unlike the first who's a deep sea variant (usually distinguishable by fin type)
-Claws on the end of his fluke are common in cold water types, but not guaranteed
-he's iconic for his rounded, butterfly-like fins (can cut through the water like a sea lion's, more efficient than it actually is)
-He can gain weight quickly in response to colder waters
