For now my favorite concept for character.
In short, due to some preexisting childhood traumas, Julian is unable to associate himself with a particular gender, and as a consequence, he has troubles with adapting in society. This is exactly what his phrase is about - society doesn't have aggression, instead it pities and disguises him.
I'm thinking to give him surname Leroux.. Still under the issue though.
