Description

Fact of the Week is a scientific outreach column that I was involved in while I was staying at a residential college in Singapore. Every week, a new infographic about some random scientific fact will be put up at the common areas for people to read, and it is meant to be light-hearted and quirky while not compromising on the scientific accuracy of the explanations. I was usually tasked with designing the entire infographic from scratch once given the piece of information and had to produce it within a week, on top of my regular workload in school.

Week 8 was about cordyceps, a fungus that takes over an entire bug to reproduce and is typically used in traditional medicine. This one was quite well received probably because of the narrative.
