There's also a pony from the first generation named "Sundance" who could qualify - she has the innocent clumsiness factor of Derpy's character. Also in her episode, she kind of saves the day despite being treated as a pony who can't do anything at the start of the episode, which I take to mean proof that a Derpy episode could have worked if certain things didn't happen...

I see, makes sense. I agree that Minty could also work. The fact that Sundance redeems herself in her episode (showing the ponies and the viewers that someone who's accident prone isn't automatically stupid and useless) and Minty got her own movie (just finished it today) makes me wish that everyone (the complainers, Hasbro, and even some bronies) had been a little more patient, and then maybe the same could have been done with Derpy. I guess there's always fanon.
Also, I really love these drawings you've been doing of all "versions" of each pony together. I love all the generations now, and seeing them together like this is something I can't get enough of seeing.

My older sister had everything Fizzy but then she had to move with my parents due to my dad's Military Career and mom made her start and pare down her collection. When she showed me a picture of her room I said 'how do you pare down six shelves and a bed spread and a mirror?' she said 'For mom in a bitch easy,stick out your arm and walk in a straight line with a cardboard box in the other hand and don't stop until all six shelves are bare and the box is full,take and set the box down in front of the mirror, take said mirror down,put it in the box then rip apart a beautifully made bed,stuff said bedding comforter included,stuff it in a clear garbage bag,shake pillows out of pillow cases,rip off fitted sheet and stuff it in the clear garbage bag and simply stuff garbage bag into card board box and on the way out the door grab the Fizzy Lamp and put it in the box and sell the whole lot for $40.00 at the family garage sale because it's getting to be "too childish" for a 12 year old to have magical colored talking ponies all over her room.'

My grandma posed as a buyer looking for MLP stuff for her 'granddaughter' bought the entire bedroom set haggling down her own daughter to $10.00. She took it home and decorated the spare room with Allyssa's Fizzy stuff only for my mom to find out about it and she became horrified that her own mother bought the items she thought to be junk.
