I LOVE Golden Age characters. But some of them were REALLY lacking in any deep thought. The Black Owl basically has Superman's costume and an owl-shaped mask. And his sidekicks were Yank and Doodle? So... he was a patriotic owl?I wonder... If Batman actually called him out on this lack of clarity, could THAT have inspired the Court of Owls rivalry?
