One major thing most players forget about Frisk: Frisk is their puppet.So yeah, we know stuff about the others, we know what little we know about Chara and Gaster (What more could it mean is up to your interpretation). But Frisk is the one person in all of Undertale we know NOTHING about. I mean, even their expression doesn't help. (Hell, Sans tells you that just because your LOVE is 1, doesn't mean Frisk is completely innocent or naive, just that they had some tenderness in their heart.
Frisk is your puppet. You can easily mold them into any character you want. After all, Merciful, fun-loving, goofy and fully friendly Frisk seems a little unrealistic, even if that's the way we want them to be in a Pacifist Route. Sometimes we can get frustrated, and Frisk can get like that too.
Besides, the idea of a Pacifist but sometimes a Jerk Frisk is too good to pass up.
