I can't tell you the number of times I've gone to Lake Keowee in the 20 years I've been around. Maybe 25 or 30, IDK. It's such a great lake and has great beaches too. Now I get to see it everyday since I brought both water and sand back from the lake. I always go to this place around June when the water is just getting warm. Usually also stop at Bojangles to get my lunch for the day on the way to the lake. Something about spicy chicken with mac & cheese, dirty rice and biscuits just hits so good here.
