When I say I was obsessed with Sonic Shuffle as a kid, I do not mean that in a "ha ha funny lemme just constantly draw Lumina and Void" kind of way.

So what I mean to say is I'm very glad I managed to redraw that scene where Lumina watches the others run on the beach and not want to rip my eyes out.

Sonic Shuffle just gives me these weird feelings that remind me of a time that was over ten years ago at this point. It's depressing and all but I know I can't go back to it and it's better to look towards the future and stuff.

But really. I miss being able to look out my bedroom window and see city lights and stuff. You know, even if they were literally just hotels and a Target and stuff. And I miss our obnoxious neighbors talking about random stuff outside on late summer nights. And being able to get up at five in the damn morning and not want to die. But at the same time, I also miss the tree outside my window at my other old place, and the farm and stuff.

Now it's just some apartments. And an elementary school.
