I'm working on a new character for Pathfinder 2E. My Fire / Water Kineticist with Bard Archetype for a Kingmaker game. This was one of the images that I chose not to use for my character as the camera angle would be a 'distraction' when playing the game in a "virtual table top" where I use a head-upper torso to make a 'token' for my character.

However it started as a very different looking low resolution scene that I decide to build out as a learning exercise in prep for the actual keeper image. I took this one back and forth between stable diffusion and gimp several times manually redrawing elements, changing colors and tweaking things.

I've gotten into AI Art with 2023. Well, I make my art in a combo of Stable Diffusion and Gimp. Going back and forth between the two until I get it right.

In this one I was teaching myself how to use Gimp to make manual color changes and then have Stable Diffusion smoothly blend them into the final project.

People dismiss AI Art right now, but I feel that once people understand it more, and learn to work with it in combination with other tools, it will get the respect it deserves, just like Photography once had to do.
