The Crests for the 5 Elementals for a story i thought up which i may later write and post, i'm not sure. any way its based in and around the High City of Avenhurst

there are 6 elements but only 5 elementals (see short story below for explaination)
Top row: Fire, Light and Dark, Air
Bottom row: Water, Earth

Durring the age of the Arcane Wars, when humans first discovered magic and were fighting over who was the most powerful, the *great spirits (i need to think of a decent name/names for these guys but i dont have one so for now great spirits)* fearing that the world they created many millenia ago was about to destroy itself create six higher beings, each with the power to control one of the six elements. These beings would exist between both plains of existance, Plaina Terra (the equivilant of earth) and the Plaina Celestialis (the home of the spirits), a serve as the keepers of peace. However not everything went quite according to plan, Light and Dark the two eldest and twins would never agree, they began to war between themselves and enevtually the broke away from each other and join the two most powerful opposing armies. Realising that their last hope was now aiding in the destruction of their world the great spirits attempted to fuse the souls of light and dark together, but they were stronger than the spirits had anticipated and far more stuborn. It was only after the final and greatest battle of the arcane wars, which force the final union of the fractured human nations, that the great spirits succeeded. As the souls of both light and dark floated slowly from there exhausted and battered bodies towards the heavens they spiraled round each other and i flash of light and a swirl of darkness they joined and then vanished.
for the next 8 re-encarnations of the elementals the one who had to be joined alternated between fire and water, and earth and air but not once did it return to light and dark, fortunately however the spirits managed to fuse the necissary souls before it got to such a stage as the first elementals. But now Light and Dark would be fused again and this tome durring the 10th encarnation the elementals would finally fullfil their destinies they would decide the fate of the world.
