Faro Rosso shoots the laser at Cynthia without out hesitation; without hesitation Cynthia blocked it. Not only did she block it, but she learned a new power, Telekinetic shield. It's basically a force field, but more importantly is that Cynthia learned a new power so quickly. She didn't even practice with it a little, she used Telekinetic shield instinctively.
Just as Cynthia instinctively learned Telekinetic shield she instinctively used her powers to hurl a telephone pole at Faro Rosso. It was a direct hit, sending the red Skepter flying back. Don't worry about Cynthia causing property damage by using the telephone pole as a weapon, she picked it up from the rubble Faro Rosso left.
Cynthia prepared for Faro Rosso next attack, but hoped that hurling the telephone pole at Faro Rosso would knock some sense into her and reverse whatever the ooze was doing to her. Cynthia's hopes were not going to come true. Faro Rosso, enraged at Cynthia for chucking a telephone pole at her, brushed off the wounds and flew quickly at Cynthia. There was no time to react, Faro Ross flew behind Cynthia wrapping her arms around Cynthia tightly holding her so that she could not escape. Cynthia struggled, but it was hopeless, Faro Rosso had to tight of a grip. Then the real danger came. Faro Rosso began to charge her blue laser around the two, ready to fire a point blank shot at Cynthia. This is bad. Cynthia knows that if the laser is fired she will die immediately, but what can she do. Faro Rosso has her wrapped up tight.
