Maybe if it were a bit brighter (ie. more light), the 3D shapes would stand out more and give the piece more texture... it looks kind of flat as it is right now. The colours are very nice though,

i love this. how you made the focal point negative space rather than some bright flashy thing that is typically used in art of this sort only serves to exalt this image as very unique.

haha shit son! ..did I not comment on this ? ..my lord i am a geek ..hahaha aight son when i saw the titlename of this piece all came to my mind was "the island of Xiphos" i don't know if you do know about this or not. I remember reading about this island in my english class...its something written by this dude Paul Valery right ? ..i read about this island in umm yea!it was my english writers craft class..BORING AS FUK. hahaha....serously though like I love images with like a meaning and like whole planing involved in making of it. Cause dude I personally think that kids nowdays in the design scene don't understand...they keep on saying 'wow this is cool shit, lets submit it' no no can't do that ya know. Planning and experimenting is really important dude. Now when I look back at my work i say to myself 'damn humz you suck' hehe like seriously the only series in which I put in lot of effort and planning was the prometheus series..i hope you remember it..i still see it in your favorites hehe...but yea man this is one rad piece. I seriously don't know how i missed it..shit ..hehe..However, I just got one suggestion..If i was you I would like try and blend the 3d object you use into the lightning you got in the bg. You'll really like it son, trust me, try and do it. Oh well I gotta go study for my exam right now ..hehe so see ya later bro....you rock this place..

Smooth and sharp, nice contrast, background is vibrant, just smudge or mask those sharp edges on the left side of the model and its more perfect. Kool details also, keep it up, Later!

Really smooth work here. At first from the thumbnail I thought this was a bit simple, but upon inspection of the full view I see that it is just right.
The forms are really smooth and coherent. They all work really well to imply a depth and direction by themselves, and to balance the light patterns opposite.
And those l334 light patterns. They are extremely well done. I assume they are one of the bits done in photoshop, but really they leave no mark of their method which is an excellent sign.
The typography in this is also pretty awesome. Very cool shapes and the subtlty (sp?) and blending is very nice indeed.
