Description
Final Fantasy 6 Terra,
The painting style was inspired by Yoshitaka Amano and Wiliam Bouguereau. I love the eerie feeling of Amano's painting, and his flat color design are so genius. For Bouguereau, I love how he done his paintings with all the white pale skin women. They are just gorgeous and perfect for paintings. So, in this painting, I used the eerie character of Amano style with pale white skin of Bougereau. The cloth was inspired by Yoshitaka Amano's flat color painting.
This piece was also inspired by recent Final Fantasy 7 painting. You guys should check his works, He's an awesome artist!
Terra was the main character for FF6 for me. She was a half human and half esper. Through the game, she struggled herself to find her own place and identity as half blood.
