I haven't played DoC so I can't say for sure. He doesn't seem to have strange lumps under his clothes. Unless the deformation you're talking about is Chaos and the other beasts but those don't show in his human form.

but I heard this reason he wears so much clothes (and has that cool golden claw hand) was to cover various deformities he got when he was being experimented on

'Deformities' to me sounds like something more serious than scarring, like a hunchback or one leg shorter than the other, some actual noticeable difference in the body shape. That never struck me as being the case with Vincent. The claw hand is debatable but it adds to the kink for some people.
