    Yuri has always been a thankful person who chose not to take what she had been given for granted. She tends to shy away from things which could cause herself or others a lot of harm, and instead chooses to simply keep to herself, and allow others to have the last words. She was brought up as an only child and therefore never really had to deal with others getting attention from her parents, yet making friends with Sou, a certain patience was developed. Completely willing to be friends with the boy, she had to learn to be tolerant of him, and therefore of others, due to him seeking fun in ‘bullying’ her, despite her not seeing it as such. Unfortunately to her, the reason behind this ‘bullying’ is unknown, even though he makes it rather obvious- to himself at least. Willing to be friends with anyone, she can easily be described as naïve. All she honestly wants out of others is for them to be happy, and if she can be a part of that, then so be it. She often never outwardly questions what she is told and, although sometimes she may have doubts inwardly, she usually will not voice those doubts unless in a dire situation when the thoughts may help out. She has always wanted to do her best for her parents in return for everything that they have given her and as such she keeps her grades up, taking it upon herself to study out class time much of the time, yet still managing to somehow make a little time to be there for her friends.

Bio:

    Yuri was born in Tokyo as an only child and was raised as such, no other siblings following after. Although both her parents worked- her mother taking a break before, during, and just after childbirth before returning later-, she was never ignored. All of her needs were seen to as a child, and she wasn’t neglected in the slightest. Time progressed on with her as it would for any other child- her spending time with her parents while they balanced work and such. Even when the two were busy with work and such she was never alone- the family living next door to her own were always happy to have her over for playdates and such with their two children, Sou and Crossette, with both of whom she had become friends with prior to actually being introduced to them by her parents.

    As a child Yuri tended not to try to get in people’s way and stayed by herself, her timid nature preventing her from really trying too hard to make friends. As well as this is made her the target of a couple of the other children who began teasing her. Unable to tell anyone and not wanting to upset the kids despite what they were doing she dealt with it by just accepting what was happening, until one of the other children, Sou, stepped in to help her. Despite having never spoken to the boy before the two quickly became friends after not too long after he helped Yuri, she helped him out too when he was falsely accused by the children he had gotten off of her back, her speaking up to prevent him from getting into more trouble. Upon finding out that he lived nearby, the two’s lives slowly integrated by them becoming friends, and them spending more and more time with one another.

    As Yuri grew up into high school, she and Sou stayed close yet saw one another slightly less- partially due to her work ethic. Rather than going out with her friends and such, a lot of the time she prefers to stay home and study, knowing how important it is that she keeps her grades up too. Her relationship with her parents has stayed okay even now although there is tension created whenever the girl doesn’t score quite as good on a test as they would like (Aka- any time her score isn’t near to perfect). Her parents, after having seen Yuri and Sou be friends for years, are fairly quick to blame the boy whenever a mishap happens, leaving Yuri to defend him and attempt to stop them from thinking negatively of her friend, a feat which she finds fairly difficult seeing as she dislikes having to talk back to them.

    As childhood friends, these two have known one another for years. Unfortunately, their relationship isn’t all fun and games. Instead, it is rather questionable for the fact that Sou enjoys teasing and making fun of her. Unfortunately Yuri is oblivious to the fact that the boy seriously likes her as more than a friend, her believing that whenever he says that he ‘likes’ her, he means it as in, he likes her as a friend, and brushes it off as such. Being close to him however the two spend time together often, including each night before bed when they speak to one another via the windows facing one another. She enjoys her time with the boy and has seen times when he has been upset after arguing with his mother, and has always wanted to at least make an attempt to comfort him about it all. She feels close to him and knows that she can rely on him if times are hard, and hopes that he can rely on her, too.

    + Kono, Crossette +

    Thanks to her relationship with Sou, Yuri has known Crossette since both girls were young, and yet still is unaware completely of her personality. Sure she knows slightly of her teasing her brother but the full extent of it is unknown. She thinks of the girl like a younger sister, partially influenced by the way Crossette calls her. Yuri continuously, despite Sou’s warning, forgets that to Crossette, her toys are more than simply ‘toys’, and she will often say that is is ‘just a toy’ much to the younger girl’s dismay. This often just leads to Yuri feeling bad about making her upset, and her offering to buy her something else in apology.

    + Fujimoto, Ryou +

    Although Yuri and Ryou do not know one another overly well, she thinks of the boy as a friend. His flirting and attempts at getting her to notice the flirting often go unnoticed by her, and she simply laughs it off as him having a little fun. She does enjoy spending time with him however, despite recent events having Sou wanting to hurt him after seeing him flirting with her.

Extra:

    + Has more than just a mild dislike of centipedes- It’s more of a phobia than just a dislike.

    + Although she joined the baton club, she is definitely not the best within the club. If anything, she doesn’t really have much of a talent for it. Her reason for joining was simply to try something new, and she found that she enjoyed it, so decided to continue on in the club.

    + At home she has a small fish tank in her room with a goldfish that she likes to take care of, named Kin.
