Description
It's been a while since I was able to draw again, so please mind any mess-ups! But I do think that this is one of the best expressions I've done so far, and decided to not cover some of the paws in order not to do it (can't learn if I don't try!).

Ravenpaw awoke as she felt sun rays glow on her back. She stretched a bit and exited the apprentice den. Butterflypaw was outside enjoying some freshkill. „Are you excited Ravenpaw? Today is my warrior ceremony!“ „Yeah, because then I have more space and I won’t have to listen to your snoring,“ Ravenpaw replied annoyed. „Who stepped on your tail today?!“, Butterflypaw hissed and continued to eat her mouse.

Ravenpaw checked the freshkill pile. Only a stale vole. Yuck. Rockcliff appeared into the clearing and must have noticed that the freshkill pile was empty, because he called out: „Vanillaheart, Thunderscar, Bouldershoulder, Petalear and Ravenpaw, go out on a hunting patrol. Stubbylegs will lead you.“ The cats assembled and left camp. „Why do I always have to go out and hunt,“ Ravenpaw moaned. „Be thankful you even have a place in this clan,“ Thunderscar growled. „You don’t have to be so rude Thunderscar, every apprentice moans now and again,“ Petalear meowed. „Yeah, yeah, whatever,“ Thunderscar snapped. Ravenpaw left the group and went to hunt for herself.

At the end of the hunting session, she had caught a squirrel, a pigeon and a rabbit. „Should I help you carry? It seems like today was your lucky streak!“, Bouldershoulder purred. Ravenpaw nodded and handed him the rabbit. It was ginormous! „Nice catch!“, Vanillaheart purred. They entered camp to find Shadepelt waiting. „Hello Ravenpaw, would you like to share prey?“, Shadepelt purred, but Ravenpaw shook her off. „Gotta refuse mom,“ she grumbled and headed for the pile.

She dropped the freshkill and headed off to a quiet spot to eat a squirrel alone. Her mother seemed pretty hurt, but Ravenpaw needed her to understand that she can’t always hover around her. She needed some space.

Moonpaw came and Shadepelt raced to her. Together they shared the rabbit Ravenpaw had caught.

Ravenpaw swallowed the last piece of her squirrel and headed to her mentor. Bouldershoulder was devouring a mouse. „Oh hey Ravenpaw,“ he said with a mouth full of food. „I was thinking we could go to the hollow and practice some battle moves. Goldpaw, Rubypaw, Lilacpaw and Butterflypaw offered to assist us, considering they will become warriors today. Featherpaw, Blackpaw, Peacockpaw, Sapphirepaw and Mintpaw will be joining us.“ „Do you think we have enough apprentices?!“, Ravenpaw snarled. „Be grateful, every single one of them is a gift from StarClan,“Bouldershoulder lectured. „I beg to differ,“ Ravenpaw whispered.

The apprentices were already gathered by the time Ravenpaw joined them. „Wait for me, I need to collect some herbs!“, Moonpaw mewed and stumbled towards them. „Frostleaf said I could join you to look for herbs,“ she explained to Stripefur. „Alright, come along!“, he purred and soon the group was out and about. „I am so excited for my ceremony!“, Butterflypaw cheered. „Yeah, we know, you said that for the 100th time today,“Ravenpaw grumbled. Butterflypaw gave her a nasty stare but Moonpaw said: „I am excited to heear your warrior name. It will probably sound lovely!“ What a suckup. Butterflypaw purred and said: „Well, it isn’t hard to see who is the better sister!“ Ravenpaw just ignored that comment.

Was it her fault that she hated interacting with the same cats who discriminated her every day? They reached the hollow, where Lilacpaw left with Moonpaw to look for herbs. „Can we practice fighting against each other today?“, Mintpaw meowed. „Of course,“ her mentor Vanillaheart purred. Mintpaw cheered and soon enough they started.

Ravenpaw had to fight against Goldpaw. „This isn’t fair, he is way older!“, Ravenpaw complained. „Don’t worry, I will go easy on you,“ Goldpaw teased and Tigermoon gave them the call to start.

Ravenpaw charged at the tuxedo cat and kicked his belly, making him fall to the ground. „Not bad,“ he said and jumped up. But Ravenpaw wasn’t done: she kept on hitting his nose until he begged for forgiveness. „One could think you won’t be becoming a warrior today!“, Tigermoon hissed.

Ravenpaw joined the other apprentices on the side of the arena. „Oh, he is totally flirting with you!“, Rubypaw teased. „Yeah no,“ Ravenpaw said sharply. „Oh come on, just look at him! He is loyal, brave, kind, handsome and strong!“, Sapphirepaw said. „Well, that fight proved otherwise,“ Ravenpaw snapped. „If you want to be alone for the rest of your life, be my guest! I myself think Blackpaw is kinda cute,“ Mintpaw said shyly. „And you think he would fall for your ugly face?“, Ravenpaw said. „This is why noone likes you!,“ Rubypaw hissed and the shecats turned away, giving Mintpaw comforting licks. Maybe she went a bit too far this time?
