Description This is my sorry attempt to create a representation of Vishnu in his Lordly form I guess rather than human using Dream up

Vishnu is one of the Hindu trinity Gods (along with Brahma and Shiva) and one of the supreme principal deities in Hindu tradition.  He was self born; no mother or father (a feature also attributed to Shiva) (and Brahma who emerged from a lotus flower that grew out of Vishnu's navel) and is said to descend to Earth into the form of one (or more) of his 10 avatars, some human, some animal and some a mix of the two: you've probably heard of at least two of his human avatars, namely Krishna and Buddha.  when he descends it is usually because there is too much evil in the world so he comes to restore the balance and in so doing preserve's cosmic harmony.  It's sort of hard to explain; it's closest reference is the Egyptian belief in "as above so below":  what's happening here is happening in parallel within the heavens, Like any principal deity in any religion there are great tales of mighty deeds like when Vishnu descended to earth into the form of a fish avatar called Matsya to deliver a prophecy to an old sage of a coming deluge that would engulf the world, it's the Hindu equivalent of the Hebrew tale of Noah's Ark: the male and female of every plant and every animal stored on a huge boat, etc. thus founding a new clean human race and repopulating the world with animals and plants, next he had to take the forms of two hero avatars to fight demons for control of the world, then finally he went into the underworld to ensure that there was nowhere left for the demons to go.  Just as an addendum:  when I say heavens I don't mean Heaven likewise underworld doesn't mean hell, this notion of a place for the good dead and a separate place for the bad dead is relatively modern, the heavens is like the world-ish but on a cosmic level and Svarga (the top level or dimension of the heavens) is the realm of the gods, the world is the land of the living and the underworld (Patala) is the realm of the dead, all dead, not just the bad dead (it is described as being a very beautiful place, not some inferno).  karma and reincarnation are the forces that mete out justice based on your virtue or lack thereof when you were alive.
